I am a lawyer with a wide-ranging background spanning private practice, in-house counsel, and the classroom. I advise on contract law, business transactions, compliance, and regulatory matters, and I have drafted and negotiated commercial agreements across a variety of industries. As an adjunct professor of business law, I also teach the next generation of professionals how to think through legal and commercial problems. I am the co-founder and CEO of Mari Imaging Inc., a private MRI clinic in Victoria designed to make fast, world-class care feel calm rather than clinical. BBuilt around the newest generation of helium-free 1.5T MRI technology, Mari pairs cutting-edge clinical precision with a thoughtful, considered patient experience from the first booking step to the final report.
I am the founder of the Victoria Pickleball Festival, Canada's first dedicated pickleball festival, taking place August 28 to 30, 2026 at Topaz Park in Victoria, BC. Over three days it brings together a competitive and recreational tournament, a curated local market, a food garden, and live music, drawing players, vendors, and visitors from across Canada and around the world. It is a community-first event built to grow into an annual celebration, and the beginning of a brand I am proud to be building from the ground up.
